Fitting the stylus guard

Fit the guard over the stylus:

1. Hold the guard at the front and rear.
2. Align it with the front of the cartridge and slowly raise it.

Cleaning the turntable and dust cover

• Use a soft, dry cloth.
• If this does not remove the dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Then dry the turntable with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use chemical solutions such as alcohol, benzine or paint thinner. They may damage the surface.

Cleaning the stylus

Styli are precision components. Handle the stylus carefully to avoid bending or damage. A bent cantilever or damaged stylus can no longer follow the groove correctly and may damage records or cause other malfunctions.

• Do not clean the stylus with thinner or other chemicals.
• If the stylus is heavily soiled, use a small brush. This is not included.
• Move the brush from back to front. Do not brush across the stylus.
