Adjusting the overhang

Setting the distance

Move the cartridge so that the stylus tip is 52.8 mm from the end of the headshell. The illustration shows the two reference points.

Aligning the cartridge parallel

Fit the cartridge parallel to the outer edges of the headshell.

Correct on the left: align the cartridge parallel to the headshell

Checking straight alignment

The cartridge must be fitted straight.

Correct on the left: fit the cartridge straight, without tilting it sideways

After adjustment, tighten the screws securely and attach the headshell to the tonearm.
