Replacing the cartridge
Note
An Ortofon 2M Red is fitted as standard. If you use a different cartridge, the overhang, tracking force, anti-skating force and tonearm height may need adjustment. If in doubt, contact your specialist dealer.
Follow the new cartridge's instructions for fitting it and connecting the headshell wires.
Changing the cartridge
- Leave the stylus guard fitted.
- Remove the headshell from the tonearm.
- Use a flat-blade screwdriver to remove the mounting screws and washers. Then remove the cartridge from the headshell.
- Fit the new cartridge according to its instructions. Initially tighten the screws only lightly.
- Adjust the Overhang and then refit the headshell to the tonearm.
