Preparation and positioning
The PLATINUM Automatic EAS must be assembled before first use.

Note
Do not connect the turntable to a mains socket using the power adapter until assembly is complete.
Initially leave the stylus guard fitted during assembly. The stylus is a high-precision component: do not touch it with your fingers or allow it to drop onto the record, as this may damage it.
Removing the transport restraint
Remove the cable tie securing the tonearm.
Positioning the turntable
Place the PLATINUM Automatic EAS on a level, stable surface. If the surface is uneven, adjust the height of each foot by turning it.
