Placing the device

Before setting up the device, observe the information under General safety instructions .

Only place the device in dry indoor areas and avoid direct heat sources, moisture, strong sunlight and areas with insufficient ventilation.

Make sure that the ventilation openings, the subwoofer and the bass reflex port on the underside of the device are not covered and that there is sufficient clearance around the device for air circulation.

Unpacking the device

  • Carefully unpack the device and all supplied parts.
  • Check the device and all included parts for visible damage.
  • Check the scope of delivery for completeness.

  • If possible, keep the packaging so that the device can be transported safely or shipped at a later time.

Removing the subwoofer transport protection

Before using the device for the first time, the transport protection on the underside of the device must be removed.

Remove the subwoofer transport protection from the underside of the MEISTERSTÜCK 3

  • Carefully position the device so that the underside is accessible.
  • Remove the transport protection completely from the subwoofer area.
  • Make sure not to touch the subwoofer or press it in.
  • Then place the device back on its feet.
ℹ The transport protection is intended solely to protect the subwoofer during transport and shipping and must be removed before using the device.
Caution!

Do not touch or press the subwoofer diaphragm on the underside of the device. This may damage the loudspeaker.

Choosing a suitable location

  • Only place the device on a stable, level surface capable of supporting its weight.
  • Place the device on the feet provided for this purpose.
  • Protect the device from strong mechanical shocks.
  • Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm from walls and other objects.
  • Make sure that the subwoofer and the bass reflex port on the underside of the device are not covered or blocked.
  • Do not place the device on soft surfaces, as this may impair air circulation and sound radiation.
  • Do not operate the device in closed cabinets or unventilated furniture.
  • Do not place objects filled with liquid on the device.
  • Do not place the device in the immediate vicinity of radiators, heat accumulators, stoves or other heat sources.
  • Protect the device from moisture, splashing and dripping water and direct sunlight.
ℹ The rubber feet of the device may cause discoloration or marks on certain sensitive surfaces. If necessary, use a suitable protective mat.
