Positioning the device

Before positioning the device, read the information under General safety instructions.

Place the device only in dry indoor rooms and avoid direct heat sources, moisture, strong sunlight and areas with insufficient ventilation.

Ensure that the ventilation openings, subwoofer and bass reflex port on the underside are not covered and that sufficient space remains around the device for air circulation.

Unpacking the device

  • Carefully unpack the device and all included parts.
  • Check the device and all included parts for visible damage.
  • Check that all items are included.

  • If possible, keep the packaging so that you can safely transport or ship the device later.

Remove the subwoofer transport protection

Remove the transport protection on the underside of the device before first use.

  • Carefully position the device so that its underside is accessible.
  • Completely remove the transport protection around the subwoofer.
  • Take care not to touch or press in the subwoofer.
  • Then place the device back on its feet.
ℹ The transport protection only protects the subwoofer during transport and shipping and must be removed before using the device.
⚠ Caution!

Do not touch or press the subwoofer cone on the underside of the device. This may damage the speaker.

Choosing a suitable location

  • Place the device only on a stable, level surface capable of supporting its weight.
  • Place the device on its intended feet.
  • Protect the device from strong mechanical shocks.
  • Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm from walls and other objects.
  • Ensure that the subwoofer and bass reflex port on the underside are not covered or obstructed.
  • Do not place the device on soft surfaces, as this may impair air circulation and sound radiation.
  • Do not operate the device in closed cupboards or unventilated furniture.
  • Do not place objects filled with liquid on the device.
  • Do not place the device directly next to radiators, storage heaters, stoves or other heat sources.
  • Protect the device from moisture, splashing and dripping water and direct sunlight.
ℹ The rubber feet may cause discolouration or marks on certain delicate surfaces. Use a suitable protective mat if necessary.
