DAB Radio

For playback of digital radio stations that can be received via the antenna.

A station scan starts automatically the first time you use DAB Radio. Available stations are then saved in the station list.

Open DAB Radio

Open the Home menu and select:

Home → DAB Radio

Functions and submenus

Station list
Displays the saved DAB radio stations.
An automatic station scan is performed the first time you use DAB Radio. Available stations are saved in the station list.
Rescan
Starts a new automatic scan for available DAB radio stations.
Manual scan
Allows you to search for DAB radio stations manually.
Remove invalid stations
Removes stations that can no longer be received from the station list.
When opening a station that can no longer be received, an error message appears. After a new scan, stations that can no longer be received are shown in the station list as invalid with a “?” before the station name. Confirming this menu item removes invalid stations from the list.
DRC
Dynamic Range Compression.
Some DAB radio stations provide dynamic range compression. Compression can increase the volume of quiet sounds and reduce the volume of loud sounds. This function is recommended for noisy environments.
Station order
Specifies the order in which stations are displayed.
  • Alphanumeric (default setting)
  • Ensemble
  • Valid

ℹ The number of DAB radio stations that can be received depends on regional coverage and the antenna position.
ℹ Reception quality may vary depending on the location, building structure, and surroundings. Metal surfaces, reinforced concrete walls, or other electronic devices may affect reception.
ℹ Slightly adjusting the antenna position can further improve signal quality.
