Initial setup

When switched on for the first time, the MEISTERSTÜCK 3 starts the initial setup. Follow the instructions on the display to set up the device step by step.

Setup steps

  • Select language
  • Confirm the privacy policy
    Information about data protection is available at: sonoro.com/datenschutzerklaerung-app
  • Establish a network connection
    As soon as the MEISTERSTÜCK 3 has started, you can also use the WPS function for a quick connection to a compatible Wi-Fi router.

  • Configure Placement EQ
    Adjust the Placement EQ to the location of the MEISTERSTÜCK 3. This allows bass reproduction to be optimized according to the device’s position in the room.

  • Check for software updates
Network connections can be adjusted at any time later under Settings → Network settings.
The Placement EQ can be adjusted at any time later under Settings → Sound settings.

Setting the device name

For clear identification of the MEISTERSTÜCK 3 in the sonoro app, with supported Connect services and in compatible smart home systems, it is recommended to assign an individual device name.

To do this, open:

Settings → Device information → Device name

Enter the desired name (e.g. Living room or MEISTERSTÜCK 3) and confirm your entry.
