Connecting and positioning the antennas

For Wi-Fi and Bluetooth reception the two Wi-Fi antennas must be connected.

For reception of FM and DAB+ radio stations you can use either the supplied FM/DAB telescopic antenna or the FM/DAB wire antenna use.

Wi-Fi antennas

Attach the Wi-Fi antennas

1. Attach the antennas

Screw both Wi-Fi antennas fully onto the connectors WIFI ANTENNA 1 und WIFI ANTENNA 2 on the rear of the device.

2. Position the antennas

Position the two antennas so that one antenna is vertical and the other is horizontal.

Positioning the Wi-Fi antennas at a 90° angle to each other generally ensures the best possible reception quality.

FM/DAB telescopic antenna

Attach the FM/DAB telescopic antenna

1. Attach the antenna

Screw the telescopic antenna onto the connector DAB/FM ANTENNA auf der Geräterückseite fest.

Extend and position the FM/DAB telescopic antenna

2. Extend and position the antenna

Fully extend the antenna and position it so that reception is optimal.

FM/DAB wire antenna

As an alternative to the telescopic antenna you can use the supplied FM/DAB wire antenna.

1. Attach the antenna

Screw the wire antenna onto the connector DAB/FM ANTENNA auf der Geräterückseite fest.

2. Unfold the antenna

Fully unfold the wire antenna so that both ends and the connection cable form a “T”.

3. Position the antenna

Position the antenna according to the desired reception mode.

For FM reception, a horizontal orientation of the two antenna ends is recommended. For DAB+ reception, a vertical orientation is recommended.
If radio reception is poor, change the position and orientation of the antenna until the best possible reception quality is achieved.
