Network information

The Network information menu displays the device's current connection and address information.

This information can be useful when setting up the network, troubleshooting connection problems, or accessing the web client.

Open network information

Open the settings menu and select:

Settings → Network information

Displayed information

Status Current connection status of the device.
Network type
Network connection in use:
  • Wired connection (LAN)
  • Wireless (Wi-Fi)
SSID Name of the connected Wi-Fi network.
Encryption Wi-Fi security standard in use.
Quality Wi-Fi signal strength or connection quality.
IPv4 address
Current IPv4 address of the device.
ℹ Can be used to access the web client in a browser.
Mask Subnet mask of the network.
IPv6 address Current IPv6 address of the device.
Auto-configured Automatically generated IPv6 address.
Gateway
Gateway addresses in use:
  • IPv4 address
  • IPv6 address
DNS
DNS servers in use:
  • IPv4 address
  • IPv6 address
ℹ To access the web client, the computer and the device must be on the same local network.
ℹ The displayed network data can also be used to diagnose connection problems with Wi-Fi, LAN, or streaming services.
