Display and energy settings
In this menu, you can adjust the device's display behavior, display functions, and energy-saving settings.

Functions and submenus
Automatic standby mode
Automatically switches the device off
when there is no playback or user interaction.
- 5 minutes
- 15 minutes (default setting)
- 30 minutes
- 60 minutes
- 24 hours

ℹ If automatic standby mode is set to
Off,
the device remains ready for immediate use at all times.
However, this significantly increases power consumption.
Also note that the device continuously generates more heat.
Show time and date in standby
Displays the current time and date on the screen in standby mode.
Screen saver
Automatically switches off the display after a specified period without user interaction while playback continues.
- Off (default setting)
- 10 seconds
- 1 minute
- 5 minutes
Deep sleep mode
Enables or disables deep sleep mode.
Deep sleep mode is disabled by default.
When the device is in deep sleep mode, network functions, Smart Home control, Connect services, and Multiroom are disabled, and the device cannot be detected on the network. Set alarm times are not executed in this mode.
Display brightness
Adjusts the brightness of the display.
- 0 = minimum brightness
- 15 = maximum brightness
The brightness can be adjusted in individual steps from 0 to 15.
Menu timeout
Specifies how long menus remain visible after the last user interaction.
- Off
- 15 seconds (default setting)
- 30 seconds
Mini player
Displays the current playback information in the lower status bar. Always enabled in CI mode.
Menu display style
Selects the display style of the icon-mode screen.
- Line view (default setting)
- Grid view
- List view
