CD

The CD source lets you play audio CDs and MP3/WMA CDs using the integrated CD drive.

Playback starts automatically when a CD is inserted.

Open CD

Open the Home menu and select:

Home → CD

Insert a CD

CD CD slot

Insert a permitted 12 cm CD into the CD slot. Playback starts automatically.

ℹ Use only permitted 12 cm CDs. Mini CDs or MD CDs with an 8 cm diameter must not be used. Do not insert foreign objects into the CD slot.

Functions and submenus

Disc information Display information about the inserted CD, such as its type, number of tracks and duration. Track names are displayed if this information is available on the CD.
Shuffle

Switch playback in random order on or off.

  • Shuffle on
  • Shuffle off
Repeat
  • Repeat all
  • Repeat one
  • Repeat folder
  • Repeat off

Repeat folder is available only for CDs with a folder structure.

Resume play

Resume on

Playback starts at the last played position. This function remains available when you change the source or switch the device to standby and is useful for audiobooks, for example.

The function ends when you select Resume off, eject the CD or switch the device off using the main power switch.

ℹ This device is classified as a Class 1 laser product. Laser beams may damage your eyes. Do not attempt to dismantle the device or open the CD drive. Maintenance and repairs must be carried out only by the manufacturer, an authorised service centre or suitably qualified personnel.
