Sub Out connection

Via the SUB OUT connection, you can connect an active subwoofer to the device. Low frequencies are then output to the subwoofer.

Connecting an active subwoofer

Connect the line input (LINE IN or LFE IN) of your active subwoofer to one of the device’s SUB OUT connections using a suitable RCA cable.

ℹ The SUB OUT connections provide an audio signal and are intended exclusively for active subwoofers or external power amplifiers with an integrated amplifier.

Enabling the subwoofer

After connecting, the subwoofer must be enabled in the audio settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Select Audio system setup
  • Open Speaker configuration
  • Select 2.1 system or 2.2 system

Once enabled, low frequencies are automatically routed to the connected subwoofer.

ℹ A 2.1 system uses one subwoofer. A 2.2 system allows two subwoofers to be connected to the two SUB OUT connections.
ℹ Volume, crossover frequency and other settings are adjusted directly on the subwoofer.
