Cleaning and care

Regular cleaning and proper care keep the device’s surface attractive and preserve the functionality of the sonoro STREAMER.

Damage due to improper cleaning

Sharp objects, abrasive cleaners or unsuitable cleaning materials can damage the device’s surface. Improper cleaning can impair its functionality.

Do not use abrasive, solvent-based or aggressive cleaning agents.
Do not use polishes, scouring pads or steel wool.
Do not use hot air or compressed air to dry the device.
Protect the edges and corners of the device from excessive force.
Never spray cleaning agents directly onto the device.

Light soiling

Fingerprints, dust and light soiling can be removed easily.

Clean the outside of the device only with a soft, dry cloth.
Preferably use a clean microfibre cloth.

Heavier soiling

A slightly damp cloth can be used for heavier soiling.

Clean the outside of the device only with a slightly damp cloth.
Use only clean water.
Make sure that no moisture enters any openings or connections.
Then dry the device with a soft, dry cloth.

Cleaning the ventilation openings and fan

Dust deposits on the ventilation openings or fan can impair heat dissipation and increase the device temperature.

Carefully remove dust with a vacuum cleaner and a suitable brush or upholstery nozzle.
Take care not to damage components or fan blades.
Do not cover or damage the ventilation openings.
Do not use compressed air or compressed-air sprays to clean the fan or ventilation openings.

ℹ A vacuum cleaner is recommended for cleaning the fan. Compressed air can push dust inside the device, damage fan bearings or damage the fan by causing it to spin too fast.

ℹ Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning and allow it to cool completely.

ℹ Use only cleaning methods that do not damage the device’s surface or markings.
