Cleaning and care
Risk of property damage due to improper cleaning!
Sharp objects, abrasive cleaners, or unsuitable cleaning agents can damage the surface of the device. Incorrect cleaning methods may impair functionality.
- Never use abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agents.
- Never use hot or compressed air to dry the device.
- To preserve the high-quality surface and fabric covering of your speaker, clean the device regularly and only with suitable, gentle cleaning agents.
Cleaning the fabric cover
- Moisten the fabric cover with a soft sponge and cold or lukewarm clean water.
- For heavier soiling, you may additionally use a diluted solution of a mild, non-aggressive detergent.
Important: Do not use a high-pressure cleaner, as this may damage the speaker.
- Allow the cleaning solution to take effect for approx. 2–3 minutes depending on the degree of soiling.
- Then gently brush the fabric with a soft brush made of natural bristles.
- Always work from the center outward to protect the fabric.
- Then carefully remove all detergent residues with clean water.
- Repeat the process if necessary.
Note: If the device comes into contact with other substances (e.g. beverages or dirt), wipe them off immediately to avoid stains or damage.
Notes on fabric care
- The fabric cover may show slight irregularities in the weave pattern due to production.
- Do not pull out loose threads; instead, carefully cut them off with small scissors.
Cleaning other parts of the device
- Clean the remaining surfaces of the device with a soft sponge and a mixture of lukewarm water and mild detergent.
- Caution – device damage due to water ingress!
- Do not spray or pour water into the woofer opening on the underside of the device under any circumstances.
- Ingress of liquid can cause severe damage to the electronics and speaker components.
