Positioning the speakers

Place ORCHESTRA Shaped Signature in a safe, suitable location. Check that natural wood surfaces are suitable: discolouration may occur on oiled or waxed surfaces.

Notice

Always put spike pads under the spikes to prevent floor damage. Assistance from a second person is helpful when positioning the speakers.

Basic positioning

  • A – Speaker spacing: 2 to 3 m
  • B – Listening distance: speaker spacing × 1.25
  • C – Distance from the rear wall: approx. 50 cm
  • D – Distance from side walls: approx. 80 cm

Angle the speakers slightly towards the listening position. The tweeters should be approximately at ear level when you are seated in your preferred listening position.

Room acoustics

  • Avoid positioning the speakers in corners.
  • Large furniture or TV units between the speakers impair the stereo image.
  • Carpets and curtains improve room acoustics.

After alignment, secure the feet or spikes.
